Look forward to 60 kilometres of perfectly prepared ski slopes, groomed cross-country trails and toboggan runs with a total length of 17 kilometres. The Alpe di Siusi not only offers tobogganing fun for all ages and lots of fun ice-skating on the Lake of Fiè, but also wonderful opportunities to relax and find peace. Gently glide along on your cross-country skis across the natural idyll of the Alpe di Siusi and leave your busy everyday life behind. Venture out on a winter hike through dense forests over snow-covered alpine pastures up into the alpine landscapes of the Dolomites and discover the most beautiful mountain peaks of the Dolomites during winter hiking. Other highlights include moonlight tobogganing on the Alpe di Siusi and on the Tuffalm and snowshoeing in the kingdom of King Laurin. Here, you may breathe deeply, warm up and unwind with a cup of freshly brewed tea. We recommend our guests a winter hike under the Catinaccio with a stop at the lodge Hanigerschwaige, where Doris and her brothers welcome their guests. Tasty, local dishes can be enjoyed on the lodge Messnerjoch with Matthias. Some culinary recommendations in the Fiè area: the Tuffalm with the Tuff-Sepp or the Hofer Alpl. A not-so-secret tip is the medieval Christmas market by the Lake of Carezza between the Catinaccio and Mount Latemar. The picturesque landscape, the live nativity scene and the oversized lanterns make a trip here unforgettable. Enjoy the Advent season and your Christmas holidays and stroll through the unique Christmas markets of South Tyrol: Besides the popular and rather large Christmas markets in Bolzano, Bressanone, Merano, Vipiteno and Brunico, there are many smaller markets in Fiè allo Sciliar, in Castelrotto, in the artists’ town of Chiusa or at the Corno del Renon with its special “Christkindlbandll”. Skiing fun in the area Alpe di Siusi
Right in the heart of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites, on the Alpe di Siusi, there is a sunny ski area, which can be reached within a few minutes with the modern cable car. The valley station is located in Siusi allo Sciliar. 60 sunny slopes of all difficulty levels await you in the ski area Alpe di Siusi. In the ski school for children, the youngest winter sports enthusiasts may learn how to ski, and snowboarders can look forward to a fun park with many jumping elements and a chill area. The ski resort Carezza is another varied winter sports area, just a 30-minute drive from the farm Prackfolerhof.

If you are looking for fun on one or two boards, you may reach the ski area Carezza Ski at the Carezza Pass in just 15 minutes via the ski bus which departs every few minutes from Tires al Catinaccio. In the winter sports region, which has been awarded the title of “top ski resort” and “climber of the year 2010” by the ADAC Skiguide, 16 modern ski lifts with 40 km of perfectly groomed slopes await you. 170 snow cannons guarantee snow safety from December to April. With an average of 8 hours of sunshine per winter day, Carezza is one of the sunniest ski resorts in South Tyrol. The Snowpark Christomannos, a ski kindergarten and a snow playground invite the young and youthful winter athletes to romp and play, while Nordic fans make their rounds on 16 km of trails.
